'Purrfect' was inspired by my friend's cat, Mungo. I met him while enjoying a neighbourly cup of tea. After noticing his imperious stare for a while, I asked why he was increasingly outraged by my visit. The answer was obvious and made me laugh, "Well you are sitting in his chair, Dear!"

He made such an impression on me I went home and sketched him immediately, then developed my drawing into this etching. Here he is in all his regal glory.
