I am a figurative sculptor working in clay. I am inspired by human and animal forms and movement, gaining inspiration from the natural world and the emotive context. Currently I am enjoying working in a course, gritty earthenware clay which helps to reflect the flaws and imperfections of life. Emotion can be ambiguous, and I like my work to be interpreted in different, not obvious, ways.
My work is small; many pieces able to sit on mantelpieces or shelves. Many can also be placed outside and are weatherproof.
